Hi, my name is Laura. I started the Toddler Mommy website for all the mothers of well, toddlers, who just want to talk about what their precious little boy or girl is doing this week or to share their story. I look forward to reading them and chating with you!

Bryson was born Feb. 16th 2011. He was perfectly healthy, even though the doctors thought something could be wrong. Time past and everything was still great, but we just happened to notice that one of Bryson's pupils was always big and the other always small. At about 2 months we took him to the eye doctor not expecting to leave with shock, Bryson was born blind. It was hard at first.
How was I going to be able to teach him what he needs to know? But I was afraid for nothing! Bryson has no problems learning. He's amazingly smart and I'm not just saying that because he's my son. He can do anything he should be doing. Other then crawl or walk because those come later with blind children. It has been quiet a journey and a learning experince for me and his father. <3
